On July 5th, we hosted students from Lokmanya Tilak Institute of Architecture and Design Studies at our recycling plant. They explored the lifecycle of plastic waste, from sourcing and sorting to processing and upcycling. This visit aligned perfectly with NEP 2020's emphasis on experiential learning. We're committed to educating future architects and designers on sustainable practices and the circular economy!
We had the honor of hosting Madam Pratima Khopde, Former Municipal Councillor and Ex-Chairman of the Market & Garden Committee, MCGM, alongside Mr. Pankaj M. Bhave, Trustee of Vesava Vidya Mandir School, Yari Road, at Aadvikaa Clean Tech Association. They visited to explore our initiatives and witness how we are empowering women ragpickers.
Aadvikaa Clean Tech Association is excited to share a recent visit from Gemini Corporation N.V. Belgium. During their tour of our recycling plant in Versova, Mumbai, they were impressed by our innovative approach to waste management, which centers on social inclusion. At Aadvikaa, we're committed to tackling plastic waste while empowering women. We employ a predominantly female workforce from the informal sector, providing them with sustainable livelihoods and opportunities to drive change in their communities.

Aadvikaa Clean Tech and GemCorp Recycling held an event to celebrate and empower women reclaimers, the backbone of community waste management. The event highlighted new initiatives to improve their lives, including skills training, monthly support programs, and community education on recycling. Aadvikaa Clean Tech, aligning with the environmental spirit of Mumbai MUN, actively participated in the event, promoting responsible plastic use and upcycling.
Sustainable MUN was an innovative initiative by the Mukesh Patel (MPSTME) students which witnessed enthusiastic participation from schools and higher education institutions within and beyond the city. The event was strongly supported by the faculty and the Principal/ Director of Mukesh Patel School.
The students’ stalls at MPSTME MMUN 2023 served as a hub for awareness, showcasing the transformation of discarded soft plastic into recycled boards. Their participation highlighted the potential for real-world solutions and responsible practices to be seamlessly integrated within student led conferences, extending the event's influence beyond diplomacy to embrace a sustainable future.
At Aadvikaa Clean Tech, we embrace the philosophy of Vasudeiva Kutumbakkam – the world is one family. In line with this belief, we are thrilled to collaborate with Bunts Sangha’s S M Shetty International School and Junior College on a journey towards a zero-waste lifestyle.
In partnership with the enthusiastic students, we are launching a soft plastic waste collection drive to raise awareness about plastic's environmental impact and promote responsible waste management. We deeply appreciate the support of Principal Reshma Rao and the dedicated teachers of S M Shetty International School, whose commitment to fostering sustainable practices among students is truly commendable.
This initiative is a significant step towards a cleaner, greener future, instilling responsibility and environmental awareness in the younger generation. It was an inspiring experience to connect with such experienced professionals and discuss innovative approaches to achieving a zero-waste future. Our focus on simple yet effective recycling techniques resonated well with Green Worms' comprehensive solutions, we are truly excited about the potential of this collaboration.
